Project Manager

Haney’s Mowing & Landscaping is seeking a Project Manager to oversee landscaping projects from initial estimating through final completion. This position will be responsible for coordinating projects, crews, materials, schedules, and customer communication to ensure projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and according to company standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate estimates and proposals for landscaping projects

  • Coordinate project schedules, crews, materials, equipment, and resources

  • Provide day-to-day direction and oversight of labor on job sites

  • Communicate project scope, expectations, and timelines with crews

  • Maintain professional and timely communication with customers throughout the project

  • Monitor project progress, quality, productivity, and completion timelines

  • Identify and address project challenges or changes as they arise

  • Conduct final project inspections to ensure work meets company quality standards

  • Communicate project completion and address any final customer needs

  • Review and close completed projects for accurate and timely invoicing

  • Maintain organized project documentation and records

  • Collaborate with management and field personnel to continuously improve project efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Adaptability and the ability to respond effectively to changing conditions

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new information

  • Ability to effectively lead, coordinate, and communicate with field crews

  • Professionalism and a strong sense of accountability

  • Landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or related industry knowledge is preferred

  • Previous project management, estimating, or supervisory experience is preferred
