Haney’s Mowing & Landscaping is looking for a dependable, hardworking Mowing & Landscape Crew Team Member to join our growing team.

​

This position is hands-on and plays an important role in providing quality lawn care and landscaping services to our residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and is willing to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lawn mowing and lawn care services

  • Operate commercial mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment

  • Assist with landscape installation and maintenance projects

  • Perform trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, and other property maintenance tasks

  • Assist with planting, mulching, bed maintenance, and landscape enhancements

  • Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials

  • Maintain clean and organized job sites

  • Follow project instructions and company safety procedures

  • Work efficiently and professionally as part of a crew

  • Communicate with crew leaders and management regarding job-site needs

  • Provide professional service and maintain a positive attitude while working on customer properties

  • Perform other duties related to lawn care and landscaping as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • A strong work ethic and dependable attendance

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently

  • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

  • Professional and respectful communication skills

  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate landscaping equipment

  • Previous mowing, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required
